The MD/PhD program combines traditional medical education with scientific research. Requirements

  • Educational background: Completion of a four-year undergraduate degree from a recognized institution with a minimum GPA of 3.7/4.0 in the final two years of undergraduate study.
  • MD program requirements: You must meet the requirements for admission to the MD program, including submission of the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) scores.
  • Research experience: You should be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm for research—­for example, by highlighting lab work, research projects, or published findings.
