Staffing Updates - Sept 2022

September 2022

There have been many changes this summer to share!

Jasmine Guest was married this summer and is now known as Jasmine Arsenault. Congratulations, Jasmine! Jasmine has another exciting update, as she was recently appointed to the role of Patient Services Coordinator and will report to Courtney D’Ariano, who replaced Yvonne Neatby as Office Manager after Yvonne accepted a role as Manager, Administration & Finance with the Department of Oncology. Sylvie Richer joined us in May as Manager, Clinic Operations. Formerly Schulich Dentistry’s program coordinator for CDE, Sylvie was manager of the Health and Wellness Clinic at Fanshawe College for two years.

Brenda Davis has returned to Dentistry on a part-time contract in the role of Project Manager to provide support in the area of curriculum renewal and accreditation, as well as other academic projects. Brenda will also be assisting with orientation for Terri MacDougall, who has taken on the role of Manager, Dental Education. Terri joins us from the Department of Surgery with background in staff leadership, accreditation, and curriculum review.

We also welcomed Dr. Keven Hockley (DDS ‘90) into the role of Director of Clinics, effective September 1. Dr. Hockley joined Schulich as an adjunct professor in 2020, and became a full time Assistant Professor, Restorative Dentistry last September.

Other updates include:

  • Josanne (Josie) Southern has returned to Western as a student and accepted a part-time contract to provide administrative support to the Clinics Team while she is in school.
  • Kylie Willis accepted a new position with the Faculty of Geography and recruitment is ongoing to fill her role.
  • Jacquie Geneau moved on to the Faculty of Law after 15 years with Schulich Dentistry. All inquiries for postgraduate programs should currently be directed to Andrea Marsh.
  • Kim Zimmerman has brought her administrative talents upstairs as she has accepted a full-time temporary position in the Schulich Dean’s Office to cover Seidy Rayo’s maternity leave. The search for a part-time administrative assistant for Research continues.
We also welcome several new adjunct faculty this fall – learn more about them here.
