In the absence of in-person student social events for students this year, the UWODSS sought to lift spirits during midterm exam preparation with its first-ever Dentistry Donut Day.

UWODSS council members distributed 350 donuts to students and faculty on campus, taking care to follow all COVID-19 safety precautions. Individually wrapped donuts from BoxCar Donuts, a London-based artisanal confectionery were available for all to enjoy.

Each donut was aptly decorated with purple drizzle and a cookie tooth.

“We decided on a design that would represent our school spirit,” explained Rachelle Li, UWODSS Vice President of Programming.

“Donut Day was for students and faculty to celebrate being half-way done with the school year. Even though we cannot plan in-person events, we wanted to do something uplifting for the School.”
