This 3-day hybrid course (includes Medical Emergencies course held via "Live" Zoom), will have dentists leave with the knowledge of how to safely and effectively incorporate nitrous oxide and oxygen into their practice, as well as, oral benzodiazepines alone or in combination with nitrous oxide. This course will discuss the didactic and clinical components of owning, operating and interpreting cone-beam CT image volumes. This course will review radiation physics and biology concepts, discuss common radiologic pathoses that involve the jaws and provide simulated clinical CBCT training. This course meets the RCDSO educational requirements for dentists seeking authorization to order, take, interpret and report dentoalveolar (small field-of-view) CT (DACT) scans.
