    Moderate Conscious Sedation

    This 3-day hybrid course (includes Medical Emergencies course held via "Live" Zoom), will have dentists leave with the knowledge of how to safely and effectively incorporate nitrous oxide and oxygen into their practice, as well as, oral benzodiazepines alone or in combination with nitrous oxide. Also as part of the requirement, participants will review more comment and more dangerous emergencies that we might face in dental clinics. There is a written examination for certification with the RCDSO.

    When a medical emergency arises, we still owe our patients proper care. This full-day webinar will review the more common and the more dangerous emergencies that we might face. We will review office set-ups as well as treatment steps (including emergency drugs) and strategies to make your team more competent and more comfortable.

    Cone Beam - CBCT

    This course will discuss the didactic and clinical components of owning, operating and interpreting cone-beam CT image volumes. This course will review radiation physics and biology concepts, discuss common radiologic pathoses that involve the jaws and provide simulated clinical CBCT training. This course meets the RCDSO educational requirements for dentists seeking authorization to order, take, interpret and report dentoalveolar (small field-of-view) CT (DACT) scans.
