Components
A component is a modular building block used to create and manage content on your web pages. In the 2025 Cascade HPC page building system, elements like columns, accordions, videos, and image galleries are all treated as components.
This approach makes the editing process more flexible, streamlined, and user-friendly because all changes are managed in one place and immediately reflected in your layout.
1. Adding a component to a page

On the page edit view, scroll down to “Page Sections.” This is where you can add or edit sections (or components) on the page. For newly created pages, you’ll notice there is already a pre-created section containing a “Columns” component.
Adding a New Section
- Locate any existing section.
- Click the plus icon labeled “Add New Group.”
- Choose the component you need from the dropdown. (Note: Different page types may offer different component options.)
- You can add as many sections as you need on a single page.

- Expand or Collapse: Expand a section to edit its content; collapse it for easier section management.
- Show or Hide: Within an expanded section, you can switch the component display on or off.
- Reorder Sections: Collapse all sections, then hover over the “Drag” icon. Click and drag the section to its new position.
- Duplicate a Component: Click the “Copy Group” icon to create a duplicate section, which appears directly below the current one.

Each section generally includes a Title, a Component Body, and optional CTA Buttons.
Section Title
- Basic Style: A straightforward title with optional subtitle, description, or button collection.
- Default Style: Includes a mandatory CTA area on the right and a purple key line, giving a clear sense of separation.
Component Body
- The fields here are auto-populated based on the selected component. You can add text, links, or images—just be sure to use appropriately sized images for the best display.
- Refer to the Component Library for detailed instructions on editing different component types.
Optional CTAs
- If you need a call-to-action at the bottom of the section, you can add one (or two) buttons here.
2. Working with a Column component
- Working with columns in Cascade is straightforward. The system allows you to organize your content into anywhere from one to four columns.
- If you opt for a two-column layout, you'll have the flexibility to adjust the width distribution between the columns—choosing from ratios like 30/70, 50/50, or 70/30.
- For most basic use cases, a single-column layout is the default option
