Dr. John Denstedt travelled to Nanjing Medical University in October 2014 to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). As per the MOU, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry will provide a three month Visiting Teacher Experience at Schulich for family medicine teachers from NMU, commencing November 1, 2014. The goals of the Experience include learning the details of postgraduate family medicine training in Canada, and in particular at the Schulich Medicine & Dentistry with a view to enhancing and expanding the training of family doctors at NMU and possibly throughout the larger region.
