Woodstock landscape

As a community training site, Woodstock Hospital participates in Distributed Education, providing educational opportunities for Schulich Medicine & Dentistry’s medical students and residents.

Woodstock, the Dairy Capital of Canada, is ideally situated in the centre of Southwestern Ontario in the heart of a rich farming and manufacturing belt between the shores of Lake Huron and Lake Erie. The regional commercial centre for Oxford County, Woodstock has a population of 38,000 people. The community offers a selection of specialty stores and boutiques, retail businesses, a bustling farmer’s market, spacious parks, summer theatre, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, and The Wood Show.

From its tree lined streets, century old homes, abundant parkland and friendly citizens, Woodstock has much to offer. Its history is preserved not only in their Museum and County Courthouse, but in its downtown buildings and beautiful Victorian heritage homes.  Residents and visitors can choose from dozens of restaurants and enjoy Woodstock’s  Farmer’s Market, Art Gallery, Museum, Public Library, and The Market Centre Theatre.
