In the first installment of the R.E.A.L. Life series, we get an insider’s view of the learning that takes place in the Cardiac and Intensive Care Unit at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Follow faculty member Dr. Timothy Burns and three Schulich Medicine & Dentistry residents as they complete morning rounds, and discover the mentorship and training that prepares the School’s learners to manage critically ill patients.
