Communications Planning

Communication Staff working at table

Strategically planning your communications is an essential step before launching into the development of a new publication, video or departmental initiative.

Your Communications team can help you to ensure you are heading in the right direction with your project through the development of a communications plan.

Generally, the process of developing a communications plan will involve a strategic discussion during a face-to-face meeting, and potentially a few interviews with your key stakeholders.

From there the plan will be developed and it will include a review of goals, objectives, and an outline of communication tactics and timelines for the production of any materials.

If you are in need of a communications plan or just want to discuss how to more strategically reach your staff, faculty, student or alumni – please contact April Kemick, Director, Communications & Marketing.

All the services provided by the Communications & Marketing team are free to all members of Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Only costs incurred by outside suppliers are charged back to individual departments.
