Welcome to the Tutorial! Discover how the latest Cascade components can elevate your web content.

In this guide, you'll learn how to create new pages and make edits using Cascade 2025 HPC (Home Page Collection) Components, as well as how to migrate an existing page to the new site.

 

Before you begin

  • This tutorial assumes a basic understanding of the Cascade environment.
  • Please review all module content before working on the new website, and refer back to it throughout the process.

How to ...?

This section is continuously updated to provide you with the most current information.

Basic Title

  • Ideal when you need a subtitle or description to provide more information about the section.
  • A CTA is optional; you can omit it if you don’t need one.

Default Title

  • Provides a clear sense of separation for your section.
  • Focuses on highlighting CTAs without including a subtitle or description.
For a visual comparison, refer to the video "Section structure"
  • Hero banners are only available on Full-Width pages.
  • In the edit view, expand the “Do you need a hero section?” area, select “Yes,” and upload the required images and text.

Video walkthrough

  • In the Component Library, each component page lists its specific dimension requirements.
  • When editing a component, the page edit view usually includes notes about the recommended image sizes.
  • Consider using the CTA Links component to display multiple CTAs.
  • If you have several CTAs in a WYSIWYG editor, format them as an Arrow list for clarity and consistency.
Use Easy-Columns when you have thumbnails or a CTA collection for each item, or when creating a simple index page. It’s more streamlined for organizing multiple visual elements.
No, there’s no hard limit. However, extremely long pages may overwhelm users and dilute the effectiveness of your CTAs.
  • Refer to the Component Library to see each component’s Page Type Compatibility.
  • Alternatively, open the page edit view and look at the component dropdown in the Page Section area. It will list all components available for your chosen page type.
