To understand this partnership, one needs to look no further than the words dentalcorp lives by.

Integrity. Collaboration. Innovation. Excellence. The company applies its four strategic pillars not only to its people and operations, but also demands they be reflected in its partner organizations. This is not a company that lends its name lightly, explained Graham Rosenberg, dentalcorp Founder and CEO.

“That is why we are thrilled to partner with Schulich Medicine & Dentistry. We know we are partnering with a leading academic institution that shares our commitment to advancing the field of dentistry.” dentalcorp stands as the largest and leading network of dental clinics across Canada. Launched in September 2011, the company boasts more than 400 locations, 6,000 team members and more than three million annual patient visits.

Recently, the company donated $1 million to Schulich Dentistry to support ongoing education and training for current students and alumni. The gift, Rosenberg hopes, will inspire personal and professional growth within dental professionals – right from the start.

“We are dedicated to partnering with world-class clinicians and academic institutions to advance the field through continued innovation, research and development,” he said. “Additionally, we understand the importance of making continuous advancements in research, technology and techniques to improve diagnosis and treatment outcomes for patients.

“We’re committed to placing our clinicians and practices at the forefront of excellence in patient care and that means constantly learning, developing and making new discoveries in an ever-changing field.”

dentalcorp is a company known for its impressive growth with plans to increase the size of its network to as many as 750 dental clinics over the next seven years. Industry insiders speak positively about the company’s ability to partner with practices where it can “materially reduce administrative burdens” and help create more sophisticated, efficient and service-oriented operations.

With a focus on providing resources to support practices in furthering the patient care agenda, Rosenberg said a key part of that strategy includes a commitment to education – at every step of a dental professional’s career.

In creating the dentalcorp Dentistry Fund, School leadership will be able to meet the most immediate and pressing needs of faculty and students faster and more thoroughly than ever before.

Guided by the Vice Dean & Director in Dentistry, in consultation with the School’s Acting Dean, the fund provides flexibility for leadership to address important funding needs that vary widely from year-to-year, as well as seize on emerging opportunities that may not have existed when budgets were outlined.

The gift also places dentalcorp at the forefront of Schulich Dentistry’s efforts in life-long learning for its graduates, including support for the School’s continuing dental education courses and the development of a dentalcorp Speaker Series.

“Through our continuing education series, led by top industry specialists, we will seek to provide an enriched learning experience for emerging and experienced clinicians alike,” said Guy Amini, President, who looks to root the efforts in themes of the business of dentistry, practice management and delivering excellence in  patient care. “We’re pleased to support a crucial training ground for current and future dentists.”
