Bio Sketch
Dr. Sequeira completed an undergraduate medicine degree at the University of Toronto (1994). He went on to complete residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Albany Medical Center (1998). He subsequently completed a fellowship in Electrodiagnostic and Sports Medicine at Michigan State University (1999). He is an Associate Professor and Residency Program Director of the Department of PM&R. He is a consultant physiatrist at St. Joseph's Health Care.
Dr. Sequeira is a past Director of the undergraduate Musculoskeletal curriculum within the medical school at Western University (2010). He received a Dean’s award of Excellence for undergraduate medical education (2008). He is presently responsible for the integration of WSIB education into the medical school curriculum at Western University.
Dr. Sequeira is a consultant physiatrist in the Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Programs at Parkwood Hospital. He runs a spasticity clinic, outpatient brain, and spinal cord injury clinics and is a Clinical Electromyographer.
