Biography

Tresah Antaya holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology and a minor in philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Public Health with a specialization in epidemiology from Lakehead University.

In her current role as a research associate at NeuRU, Tresah coordinates and assists in the design of population-based projects in collaboration with a team of physicians and other faculty, epidemiologists, and research analysts to explore the epidemiology of neurological diseases.

Tresah is also currently working towards obtaining a PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Western University under the supervision of Dr. Jorge G. Burneo and Dr. Kathy N. Speechley. For her thesis, Tresah is exploring environmental exposures as potential epilepsy risk factors.
