Who can participate
Learner and Trainee Information
London Health Research Day (LHRD) showcases the incredible work done by you — graduate students, trainees, professional learners, clinical fellows and postdoctoral scholars.
As a participant, you will have the opportunity to check out other poster presentations during the day to find out what your peers are working on across a broad spectrum of health research areas. The 2026 information is coming soon. Please check back in January 2026 for more information about deadlines.
- Registration for Trainees (oral presentation or poster presentation): TBA for 2026
Trainees/Learners with accepted abstracts will be asked to judge in the opposite poster session. For example, those presenting in the morning poster session will judge in the afternoon session. Faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and industry partners will be invited to volunteer as judges. Trainees should plan to be available from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on presentation day.
Staff, Faculty and Guest Information
Are you a faculty member looking to support LHRD? More information about judging will be coming soon in 2026.
This role involves evaluating trainee presentations, offering constructive feedback, and celebrating their achievements. Expected time commitment is two hours during either the morning or afternoon poster session. Faculty members can sign up to be a judge here.
Members of the health research community at Western University and partner hospitals are welcome to attend the poster presentations and keynote. Register here to save your seat at the keynote.
London Health Research Day is presented in partnership with Western University's Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and Faculty of Health Sciences, Lawson Research Institute of St. Joseph's Health Care London and London Health Sciences Centre Research Institute.
