Reasons to study
Interdisciplinary training
Leverage the perspective and experience of a diverse group of graduate learners and faculty to deepen your understanding of the field of molecular imaging.
Specialized graduate degree
The specialization results in a degree in your participating program along with a transcript notation indicating the additional specialization that has been attained. For example: MSc in Chemistry with specialization in Molecular Imaging.
Featured course
Molecular Imaging (MBP 9518B)
This one-term course, taken in your first year, explores advanced methods for studying molecular disease mechanisms in vivo. Led by Western’s expert researchers in molecular imaging, you'll examine DNA/protein synthesis, transgenic models, novel imaging contrast agents, and small animal imaging. Active participation in the presentation and discussion of relevant published articles is required.
