Dr. Teresa Purzner, MD’09 – Revamped Kingston Health Sciences Centre’s brain tumour program, resulting in reduced delays for radiation by 40% and doubled the number of patients able to be treated. The higher efficiency of the program has also resulted in timelier follow-up MRI’s and by adding a patien t navigator position as a central point of contact, patients get faster answers to the questions and are better informed on their processes in the program.
