Sanjay Patel receives 2013 J.C. Luke Award from Canadian Society for Vascular Surgery

Congratulations to Sanjay Patel on receiving the 2013 J.C. Luke Award from the Canadian Society for Vascular Surgery at its annual meeting in Edmonton, Alberta. The Award is given annually to the author of the best podium presentation. Sanjay is a second-year General Surgery resident at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry and was honoured for his paper entitled, "Relationship between popliteal artery aneurysm size and symptomatic status." This is the second consecutive year that Schulich Medicine & Dentistry has taken home this prestigious award. The School was well represented at this meeting with three other presentations by Vascular Surgery residents Joel Cooper, Kevin Lee and Ricardo Ruz.
