Dr. Les Kalman’s Virtual Facebow app a finalist in Intel App Innovation Contest

Congratulations Dr. Les Kalman, assistant professor, Division of Restorative Dentistry, Schulich Dentistry for being selected as a round one finalist in the Intel App Innovation contest. Dr. Kalman's Virtual Facebow application is a new digital replacement for the analogue version. This revolutionary application is the first of its kind and offers an easy, efficient and economical way to assist with the diagnosis and treatment planning of all dental cases.

Phase two of the contest will run from October 2 to November 13. During this Phase, Dr. Kalman must use a loaner tablet provided by Intel to refine and configure his application to the tablet. He will then submit his app for review. Dr. Kalman's app will be judged on a number of elements including how effectively his app demonstrates innovation and a compelling user experience.
