Dr. Leah Mawhinnney was also appointed to a five-year renewable term as Academic Director, International Learning, while Dr. Javeed Sukhera has been appointed for a three-year renewable term as the Academic Director, Curriculum.

Katsivo will be responsible for setting the vision, monitoring the progress and outcomes of, reporting the performance metrics and suggesting improvements to the education activities occurring within the Global Health program. Dr. Mawhinnney will focus on the management and reporting of outcomes and improvements for all undergraduate and selected postgraduate learner international elective experiences. And Dr. Sukhera will lead curricular learning, managing Global Health processes and advising on improvements to the Global Health program in Undergraduate Medical Education.

Rounding out the team is Helene Lau, administrative assistant. Lau is currently on maternity leave, and the team is receiving support from Mariel Angus until mid-October.
