In 2007, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Université de Moncton. In 2013, I accepted a position as a clinical instructor at the School of Nursing Science (ÉSI) at the Université de Moncton. I completed my master’s in nursing science at the Université de Moncton with a research topic on the experience of premature birth of their newborn among the Aboriginal population in New -Brunswick (NB). In 2021, I therefore decided to continue my training at the doctoral level but I decided to engage myself towards the prevention and promotion of chronic diseases in primary health care, while taking into account the pandemic and the telehealth during the last two years. In the meantime, I decided to make a change in my career in university teaching, in order to pursue my career in the field of research. I thus obtained a position as research coordinator for the medical training program at the Dieppe family medicine unit (UMF-Dieppe) and I am also a consultant in continuous quality improvement for this same program. This course allowed me to develop knowledge in research, especially at the level of primary health care and the prevention of chronic diseases.
