ABOUT US

Neuroimaging In Mental Illnesses (NIMI) is a part of the Robarts Research Institute. Most of our imaging data is collected using Canada's first 7 Tesla human MRI system managed by the Center for Metabolic Mapping (CFMM). We also undertake PET studies using the state-of-art hybrid PET/MRI system (another Canadian first) managed by the Lawson Imaging Program at St. Joseph's Health Centre, London, Ontario.

Prevention & Early Intervention Program for Psychoses (PEPP) is our clinical base. PEPP Program is one of the first Early Intervention clinics to be established in North America and a flagship team for early psychosis care in Ontario. Our translational work focuses on patients with early stages of psychosis (both prodromal or first episode psychosis).

Our clinical depression studies focus on treatment-resistant subjects undergoing ECT or TMS (brain stimulation) therapies at the Parkwood Institue.
