Renjini Lalitha

Clinical Fellow, 2013 - 2016

I was born in Kerala, India and lived half of my life there. At the age of 17, in order to join my family, I moved to Uganda. I pursued my undergraduate medical degree as well as Pediatric residency training at Makerere University, Uganda. During residency training, I developed an interest in Neonatal medicine. I completed 3 years at Western and passed the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada NPM subspecialty exam through the SEAP program. After working in India as a Consultant Pediatrician/Neonatologist for a year, I was accepted into the Targeted Neonatal Echocardiography fellowship training at the University of Alberta. My areas of interests include neonatal hemodynamics, neonatal neurology and fetal medicine.
