Gemma Barber
I grew up mostly in Toronto, but I spent a few of my childhood years living in the US and England. I received my undergraduate degree in Integrated Science with a concentration in Biochemistry from McMaster University, where I was also a Varsity rower. I then studied Medicine at Western University, and it was here that I discovered my passion for General Surgery. I am very excited to be continuing my clinical training at Western! My interests outside of medicine include anything active (especially running, cycling, hiking, and playing hockey), travelling, and eating good food (especially if it involves cheese).
