Daniel Black
I grew up in St. Thomas, Ontario, and completed my undergraduate degree at Western University, where I earned the Gold Medal in Honours Specialization Biology. At the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry (Windsor Campus), I developed a strong interest in general surgery and surgical education. My academic work has focused on enhancing anatomy instruction with mixed reality and developing procedural learning tools for early trainees. I also co-founded the Windsor Journal Club and led outreach initiatives to mentor future healthcare students. I look forward to continuing my academic and clinical growth in General Surgery.
