Dr. Elaine Tang received her medical degree and general surgery residency from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. She subsequently went on to complete a Critical Care Medicine fellowship from Western University, followed by a fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy/Minimally Invasive Surgery from McGill University. Dr. Tang has completed the CQuINS program here at Western University and received a MSc in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Her clinical and research interests include end-of-life care for surgical and critically ill patients, quality improvement with a focus in transitions of care, and pre-operative optimization.   

Dr. Tang welcomes patients with complex/advanced abdominal wall reconstructions inguinal, ventral and incisional hernia repair, upper and lower endoscopy, soft tissue lesions management and resection.
