Bonnie Purcell graduated with her Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University in 2013 and is a registered psychologist with the London-Middlesex Behavioural Response Team and Geriatric Mental Health Program with London Health Sciences Centre. She has been working in the field of alcohol-related problems among the senior population for over 15 years. Her primary research interest focuses on the identification of alcohol-related problems among older adults, but she has also published work related to suicide prevention in older adults. Her clinical experiences include assessment, consultation, and psychotherapy in inpatient and outpatient geriatric psychiatry, cardiac rehabilitation, and concurrent disorders.
