To: All 2012 PGY-1 CaRMS Matched Trainees

Congratulations and welcome to postgraduate medical training at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry!

By the end of April you should receive, by e-mail, a Letter of Appointment and additional information on university registration requirements which must be completed before you start your residency training. You will also receive information from Medical Affairs regarding hospital credentialing requirements which must be met prior to starting training.

In the meantime, we encourage you to apply for your CPSO educational license (www.cpso.on.ca) and your CMPA coverage (www.cmpa.org) as you do not need to wait until you receive your Letter of Appointment to start this process.

If you have not received your registration information by the end of April please check the PGME web site first for updates at http://www.schulich.uwo.ca/medicine/postgraduate/. If the web site confirms that the registration information has been sent out and you do not see it in your e-mail mailbox, please check your spam file. If you are still unable to locate it, or you have any questions, please contact the Postgraduate Medical Education office main line at 519-661-2019 or by e-mail at postgraduate.medicine@schulich.uwo.ca.
