Purpose & Vision
Under the Scope is a graduate-student-led platform dedicated to highlighting and celebrating advances in anatomy and cell biology, spanning topics from molecular mechanisms to whole systems and gross anatomy.
The column provides a space for trainees to share stories about their research in a clear and accessible language, helping to bridge the gap between researchers, trainees, and the broader Western and local community.
Through this initiative, we aim to make ongoing research in the Anatomy & Cell Biology department engaging and understandable for a wider audience, while fostering the development of graduate students’ and postdoctoral fellows’ writing, editorial, and science communication skills.
