Ruthe Anne spent three decades in the aviation industry with Air Canada, culminating in her appointment as Air Ontario’s Chief Operating Officer. After retirement, Ruthe Anne lectured at Western University and built a consulting practice focused on organizational and governance effectiveness.

A dedicated volunteer, Ruthe Anne served as chair on the boards of St Joseph’s Healthcare London, Ontario Hospital Association, Canadian Healthcare Association, London Health Sciences Centre, and Lawson Research Institute. where she was recognized as an honorary scientist. Currently, Ruthe Anne is Vice Chair, Cancer Quality Council of Ontario.

Ruthe Anne has a community focused role with the Dementia Prevention Initiative. Building and supporting relationships within the London community and region will ensure initial stakeholder understanding and participation and ultimately ensure a high uptake of research translation response within the broader healthcare community.

Ruthe Anne has gained a reputation as a tireless healthcare advocate demonstrating leadership in advocacy and policy development locally, provincially, and nationally. Ruthe Anne was honoured as YMCA Woman of Excellence and is a recipient of a Queen’s Jubilee Medal.
