Palliative Care Journal Club – Prophylaxis for Thrombotic Events in Palliative Care

Join us on Thursday, March 19, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for this month's Palliative Care Journal Club. held at St. Joseph’s Hospice of London, London Life Community Room, on the 3rd Floor of the Sisters of St. Joseph’s Building.

Dr. Tyler Jervis, will present, "Prophylaxis for Thrombotic Events in Palliative Care."

Learning objectives:

  1. Identify risks and benefits of providing thrombotic prophylaxis for patients in a palliative setting..
  2. Explore the prevalence and symptom burden of thrombotic events in patients at end of life..
  3. Discuss practice patterns and applicability of evidence across different patient populations and settings.
