London Perinatal Rounds

The Maternal Newborn Child and Youth Network (MNCYN) - Perinatal Outreach Program is hosting its annual Perinatal Rounds for family physicians (including residents) nurses and midwives on Wednesday, February 13, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Victoria Hospital, Sumner Auditorium (Rm. B2-119).

This free event would be of interest to: Family Physicians*, Midwives, Residents, Fellows, Nurses and students who are involved in perinatal care. (*CME approved learning activity)

Speakers include Dr. Jordan Schmidt, Fetal Maternal Medicine, LHSC, Obstetrics Co-Director, SW Ontario Perinatal Outreach Program, and Dr. Henry Roukema, Neonatal Perinatal Medicine, LHSC Consultant, SW Ontario Perinatal Outreach Program.

These Rounds have been approved for both The College of Family Physicians of Canada Mainpro-M1 credits and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Maincert Section 1 credits. This session will not be videoconferenced however to external sites.

We are asking participants to forward any interesting maternal / newborn cases that they would like to have presented for discussion. All cases will be presented anonymously, however, the organizers do require the patient's name and Health Card No. or LHSC PIN to allow them to access the chart for case preparation.
