A graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, Susan worked as a Curatorial Assistant at the Textile Museum of Canada and had a twenty-year career as a surface print designer. A teaching experience in the Veterans Arts program at London’s Parkwood Hospital developed her deep interest in the relationship between art and health. Susan is working with Dr. Sayra Cristancho, and is contributing her visual skills to Dr. Cristancho’s CIHR project exploring how surgeons adapt to challenging situations in the operating room, assisting with field observations, interviewing, and facilitation of visual narratives.
