A message to Meds 2017 and 2018 from Dr. Gary Tithecott

Dear Meds 2018 and 2017,

Congratulations to Meds 2017 on completing your Clerkship year. I am aware from conversations with many of you that this past year has been fulfilling in helping you better understand and deliver the seven UME competencies and has pointed you to the career you will find exciting and personally enriching.

I wish you each success in Clinical Science Electives, as you travel near and far to advance your clinical skills and decision making. I know each of you will show our national and international partners why Schulich Medicine & Dentistry is known for supporting strong graduates who are team players that embrace strong evidence-based, sensitive and inclusive patient care. Travel safe and best wishes.

To Meds 2018 - welcome to Clerkship! I am sorry I cannot attend your Clerkship orientation, but I know it will be an action-packed week that will give you the foundations to enter the most exciting year of medical school. I wish each of you success in each rotation as you explore the seven UME competencies, better understand patient care and integrate your knowledge of the past two years. I look forward to seeing you at a fall half day session!

All the best in the upcoming year,

Dr. Gary Tithecott
