Each year, the Ontario Medical Association hosts its General Council meeting in Toronto to discuss the direction of the year for its membership and direct policy. This year the General Council is happening on November 21 to 23, and selected first and second year medical students are invited to take part throught the Student Ambassador Program.
This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the OMA and to have a chance to become more involved in medical leadership and politics.
The Ontario Medical Students Association (OMSA) will be selecting six students (one from each medical school) to take part in this new program.
No experience in medical leadership or policy is required, and anyone interested is encouraged to participate.
