in-Training, the online magazine for medical students, is looking for contributors from all class years to submit articles and essays about their experiences in medicine for a peer-edited online publication.
With an emphasis on humanism in medicine, in-Training is run entirely by medical students and serves as an outlet for budding physician-journalists and writers at all medical schools around the globe.
in-Training is also looking for medical student editors to join its 16-member Editorial Board. If you are interested in editing and working with a dynamic staff to produce in-Training, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Since going live in July 2012, the magazine has published 240 articles from 109 writers at 55 institutions across the United States, Canada, India, UAE, and the Dutch Antilles. in-Training was featured on the Scientific American Incubator blog and articles have been covered on KevinMD, AAMC's Careers in Medicine website, and Stanford's Scope blog. The magazine also hosts an oral narratives podcast entitled "Inside Stories" that catalogs the perspectives of medical students during their training.
Students and faculty are invited to visit in-Training and subscribe to the twice-monthly newsletter. Please fill out the interest form or contact email@example.com if you are interested in writing, editing or reporting for in-Training.
