New Summer Student Project: Musculoskeletal - Course Materials

In addition to the previously published summer student curriculum projects, we are happy to announce the new Summer Student Project in Musculoskeletal Medicine. Application deadline is May 21.

Students selected for the summer student curriculum projects will be funded by the Undergraduate Medical Education Office in July and August 2013.

  • These funds are for UME course and curriculum development and fund a student to work on faculty sponsored learning materials project.
  • Maximum value of the funding is $ 4251.00 plus benefits for 8 weeks and is paid as full time in the summer months of July and August.
  • Students may not hold more than one University appointment at the same time. For example a student cannot have a Summer Research Training Project award and a UME summer student curriculum project.

The successful applicant for each position will have:

  • A sound understanding of the content of the particular course or theme
  • Well‐developed organizational and communication skills
  • Interest in creative and alternative learning projects
  • Those projects marked with an asterisk* require a sound knowledge of web design
  • Flexibility to work on a team and independently
