Keeping hope alive - Meds 2013, London

Thursday, May 9, 2013

Congrats to our Meds 2013, London, on their recent donation to Rotholme Women & Family Shelter. Mission Services' Rotholme Women & Family Shelter in London offers an open door to care and comfort, as well as support for counselling. For the past four years, the Schulich Medicine Class of 2013 in London, has been raising funds that help to keep hope alive for Rotholme's residents.

They have collected donations, and undertaken Christmas Toy Drives to support the women, men and children who make a temporary home at Rotholme. Taking their commitment one step further, members of the Class spent time with the residents, hosting special craft nights and even mani/pedi nights.

Determined to make a "real" difference, the class made a donation of $4,000 to Rotholme. The donation will be used to support needs that enhance the comfort of residents.
Well done Meds!!
