Join us tonight and experience a patient and his mom’s journey through rehab due to a traumatic acquired brain injury

Monday, February 11, 2013

The London Interprofessional Healthcare Student Association (LIHSA) is honoured to bring to you two amazing guest speakers in what promises to be an unforgettable event.

Attend the event and experience the story from a patient's perspective of what it was like during his time in the pediatric critical care unit at Victoria children's hospital and Parkwood hospital for rehab due to a traumatic acquired brain injury. This powerful presentation is inspiring, motivational and emotional as AJ Fordham and his mother, Andrea Fordham, recount their journey through AJ's time spent in the hospital. Andrea documented AJ's entire journey through photos, videos and journal entries.

Join us tonight, Monday Feb.11, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fanshawe College (the Alumni Lounge above the Oasis in the Student Center). Admission is $2 for non-LIHSA members and free for members.

If you would like to purchase your LIHSA membership card you can still do so at this event and memberships are $5 for the rest of the year.

Please RSVP to iamlihsa@gmail.com - additional details will be provided upon receipt of RSVP.

LIHSA only has room for 50-60 members to join, so don't delay in your RSVP.
