Café Scientifique joins London & Windsor audiences

Join us for a special two-evening Café Scientifique, joining London & Windsor, at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at The University of Western Ontario. Experience our videoconferencing lecture theatre for a lively 2-city discussion on the latest topics in medical science and research.

The topic for Wednesday, November 5 is "Solving the Puzzle of the Brain and Brain Disease" featuring Dr. Michael Lehman of Western and Dr. Siyaram Pandey of the University of Windsor. The free lecture and discussion runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Medical Sciences Building Room 146. Paid parking is available in the Medical Sciences Lot off Elgin Drive.

At the University of Windsor, the lecture will be held in the new Medical Education Building on Sunset Avenue in Room 1115.

On November 12, 2008, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. the topic will be "From Mice to Men: Towards a Cancer Free Future" with Dr. Lisa Porter ( U of Windsor) and Dr. Glenn Bauman (Western).

Participants can offer their opinions, ask questions, or just listen. No scientific knowledge is assumed by the speakers so that everyone can participate. Café Scientifique is sponsored by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Schulich Medicine & Dentistry at Western and the Faculty of Science at the University of Windsor.
