I am a psychiatrist with an Independent license to practice in the province of Ontario as well as holding a full license to practice in the province of New Brunswick. I am an Attending Physician in Forensic Psychiatry at the Southwest Centre for Forensic Mental Health Care, St. Joseph’s Health Care London since 2016. I am also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University.
I have authored numerous reports addressing criminal matters pertaining to risk of harm to the public. I present expert opinion and evidence both in written and oral form to the Ontarion Court of Justice, the Consent and Capacity Board as well as the Ontarion Review Board.

I do have the following professional qualifications; Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrist MRCPsych (UK) 2009, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada FRCPC (2014), Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association FAPA 2020, Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrist FRCPsych (UK) 2020. I also have the following postgraduate qualifications: PG Dip Forensic Mental Health Science from University of London 2010; UCPPD Forensic Medicine in Practise from Teesside University UK, 2011; MLiP; Medical Leadership in Practise from Manchester Business School UK, 2013 and PG-Cert Post Graduate Medical Education from Edge Hill University UK, 2014.
I am on the specialist register of the General Medical Council (UK) haven obtained my specialist designated registration CCT, following completion of my higher specialty training in General Adult Psychiatry and Sub-Specialty in Rehabilitation Psychiatry from the UK in 2014.

My other special interests includes Drugs & Alcohol/Addiction Psychiatry as well as Medico-Legal Medicine. I obtained my medical degree from the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos in 1998 prior to going to the UK for my specialist training in Psychiatry. I completed 4 years Senior House Officer Training at the Charing Cross Psychiatric Training Scheme from 2003 to 2007. Commenced my Higher Specialist Psychiatry Training from 2011 to 2014 in General Adult Psychiatry with a Sub-Specialty in Rehabilitation Psychiatry. I have over 16 years of UK work experience before coming to Canada to take up my current post in 2016. I am a highly motivated individual who constantly strives to attain excellence in both my professional and personal life.

I play lawn tennis and football. I am a "gooner" and have supported Arsenal Football club for over 3 decades. I love travelling and have had the privilege of living and working in 3 different continents.
