This 6-day refresher course is designed to assist Radiation Oncology Residents in preparing for their final FRCPC Examinations. The goal of this course is to assist each candidate in projecting a competant and focused attitude when testing during the formal FRCPC Examination process.

Course Description

This course is designed to help PGY4 and PGY5 Radiation Oncology Residents in preparing for their final FRCPC examinations. The goal of the course is to assist each candidate in projecting a competent and focused attitude when tested during the formal FRCPC examination process. This course is expected to be especially helpful to out of town residents who will be tested by unfamiliar radiation oncologists, including past examiners at the Royal College examination.

Target Audience

This course is targeted to Radiation Oncology Residents, Fellows and Radiation Oncologists preparing for the Royal College Exam. This would will also be of benefit to practicing Radiation Oncologists seeking a refresher course.

Course Fees

The course fees are as follows:

All funds are in Canadian Dollars. Participant MUST register online via credit card to guarantee your spot. Registration deadline is October 15th. Please REGISTER HERE.

Cancellation deadline is November 15th, written notification of canellation and refund request must be sent to and received by this date. Refunds are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

The London Regional Cancer Program & Western University reserves the right to cancel its courses, and is not responsible for any costs that participants may have incurred as a result of the cancellation (travel or otherwise). Kindly book your travel arrangements accordingly. In the event that Western University cancels the course, all course fees will be refunded.

Superior Room with 2 Queen Beds - $119.00/per night

The above rates are quoted in Canadian funds and are subject to 13% HST. The rate is per room, per night. You are welcome to share rooms.

Written and Optional Oral Exams

Written Exam
Written exams (Part 1 & 2) will be held on Monday morning (Day 1) of the course. This exam is part of the course fees and is for everyone to write.

Oral Exam ($150.00+tx)
Oral exams (Both clinical & treatment planning) are optional and will take place on Saturday (Day 6) of the course. The oral exams will take place in the Clinical Skills Building at Western University and transporation to the venue will be provided.
