Drs. Barbra de Vrijer, Kevin Coughlin and Genevieve Eastabrook receive Children’s Health Foundation grant
Drs. Barbra de Vrijer, Kevin Coughlin and Genevieve Eastabrook have been awarded a $50,000 Children’s Health Foundation grant for their study “Preventing childhood obesity: Improving metabolic health in the first 1000 days of life”. The purpose of this research is to find markers of poor metabolic health during pregnancy and infancy and identify modifiable environmental and nutritional factors that play a role in the future development of childhood obesity and diabetes.
