Dr. Caio Frazao

Dr. Frazao is a Cardiothoracic Radiologist joined the Department of Medical Imaging as an Assistant Professor in February 2019.
He received his medical degree from Escola Paulista de Medicina - Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Brazil. He completed his radiology residency and a one-year fellowship in Thoracic Radiology at Faculdade de Medicina - Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil. He then went on to a Cardiothoracic Radiology Fellowship at University of Toronto, working as a Clinical Cardiothoracic Fellow for thirty-one months at various sites including St. Michael's Hospital, University Health Network and Sunnybrook Health Science Centre.
Dr. Frazao's interests include interstitial lung disease, cardiac MRI/CT, percutaneous CT guided lung biopsies and medical education.
