The thesis research project is titled "The influence of student experience during medical school on medical specialty choice". The purpose of this study is to explore how student experience influences the development of attitudes and knowledge relating to medical specialty choice through one-on-one interviews lasting approximately 60 minutes each.

Message from Dr. Adam Power, assistant professor, Department of Surgery:

Hello,

My name is Adam Power and I am one of the vascular surgeons at Victoria Hospital. Please see this letter from one of my colleagues in Toronto, Elizabeth Wooster, who is performing thesis research entitled: “The influence of student experience during medical school on medical specialty choice.”

Please do not feel any obligation to take part in this research. I am happy to answer any questions you may have being the local principal investigator.

If you would like to participate, please sign the consent form and return it to Elizabeth at Elizabeth.wooster@utoronto.ca .

Thanks for your consideration and I hope you are having a good summer.

Adam
