Summer Opportunity: Dr. Susan Bradley Scholarship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

The Susan Bradley Scholarship Fund is now receiving applications for a summer student placement. This student placement is limited to first and second year medical students with an interest in gaining a better understanding and appreciation of child and adolescent psychiatry. The successful student will spend a minimum of 10 weeks and up to 14 weeks gaining clinical and/or research experience in child & adolescent psychiatry.

Based on their academic record, students are selected to spend between 10 and 14 weeks attending a variety of clinical and/or research opportunities in child & adolescent psychiatry in Toronto (research or patient-based) at The Child Youth and Family Program of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and/or The Hospital for Sick Children under the supervision of a variety of child psychiatrists. Exact starting dates can be arranged with the supervisor(s), provided they are within the summer months of June to August.

The stipend will be $5,000 for time. Students must attend a series of seminars and prepare a summary of their clinical and/or research, experiences.
