The Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) is now accepting applications for Research and Clinical Externships.
The AAP is offering funded research and clinical externships for medical students in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), a specialty that aims to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to patients with physical impairments or disabilities.
There are two eight-week programs offered to medical students between the first and second year of medical school, with attached stipends of $4,000.
The Rehabilitation Research Experience for Medical Students (RREMS) offers a structured research experience paired with the opportunity to work alongside the most successful and respected faculty members in PM&R.
