The match period for the Summer Research Training Program is now open. Click here for the list of available projects and supervisors, and for more details on how to apply.
The deadline for applications is January 26, 2015.
The goal of the Summer Research Training Program (SRTP) is to encourage medical students to pursue their interests in medical research. SRTP enables first and second year medical students in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University to work under the supervision of a faculty member on a research project during the summer months, for two years.
Students participate in SRTP for ten weeks in each of the summers following the first and second years of the MD program. SRTP requires a two year commitment from both the student and the supervisor. Students are provided with a $4,500 stipend each summer.
