Giller-prize winning author and physician Vincent Lam is coming to Western University on Friday, October 24 for a lecture and book reading.

Originally born in London, Ontario, Dr. Vincent Lam did his medical training in Toronto where he now practices in addictions medicine. He is a lecturer at the University of Toronto, and has worked in international air evacuation and expedition medicine on Arctic and Antarctic ships. Dr. Lam’s first book, Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures, won the 2006 Scotiabank Giller Prize, and was adapted for a television series on HBO Canada.
