The Division of Geriatrics at the University of Toronto is hosting the Combined University Research Day on Thursday, June 18, 2014 at Credit Valley Golf and Country Club in Mississauga, Ontario.
This event is open to residents, clinical fellows, medical students, undergraduate and postgraduate students with research projects focused on Geriatric Medicine. This is an opportunity to present their work or works in progress to a panel of judges, supervisors and peers.
Following the presentations there will be a dinner to celebrate their achievements.
Instructions for abstract submission:
Any scholarly work, including work in progress, may be submitted. This includes research, quality improvement, educational or administrative projects. Should be 400 words, maximum, not including the title and authors
Structured abstract should include:

Discussed poster presentation format:
Presenters will have 5 minutes to present a maximum of 5 PowerPoint slides (not including a title slide), followed by 3 minutes of questions. Presenters will also be expected to display a poster during the poster viewing session during which time participants will have an opportunity to engage presenters in further discussion. Maximum poster dimension is Horizontal 4’ height x 8’ width.
Awards will be presented to the top three trainee presentations/posters.
