The Office of Global Health and the student Global Health Committee are hosting the final Global Health Conversation of the year.
Dr. Tony Weiss will be speaking about industrial food production and health. He is the author of a new book entitled "The Ecological Hoofprint: The Global Burden of Industrial Livestock", which examines the industrialization of livestock production on a world scale and the increasing consumption of meat.
Dr. Weiss will introduce the concept of industrialized food production and how it impacts health, and then spend time discussing questions.
